HEIDI LOUISE WILLIAMS

Heidi Louise Williams has appeared in solo and chamber music performances across the United States and in Europe. As a winner of Artists International’s Special Presentation Award, she gave her New York recital début at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in 2004, receiving highest critical acclaim. She is actively involved in the promotion of new music and has worked with many distinguished composers including Chen Yi, Augusta Read Thomas, Robert Sirota, Daniel Crozier, and Frank Stemper. She joined the piano faculty at the Florida State University College of Music in 2007. She completed her Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees at Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland, where she studied with Ann Schein and coached chamber music with Earl Carlyss, Samuel Sanders, Stephen Kates, and Robert McDonald.
