HENRIK HOLMBERG The tenor Henrik Holmberg was trained at the University College of Opera in Stockholm and since then has worked as a freelance opera and concert singer. He has sung rôles such as Larmare in Staden by Sven-David Sandström at the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm, Emile Zola and Joseph in La vie parisienne by Offenbach at Vasan in Stockholm, Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte at Opera på fortet in Karlskrona, Charles Granddanois Jyckov in the newly written opera Ärret by Paula af Malmborg Ward at Vadstena Academy in Vadstena, Hektor in Where the Wild Things Are by Oliver Knussen at NorrlandsOperan in Umeå, Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore at the Regina Theatre in Stockholm, Tisifone in Jean-Philippe Rameau’s Fedra, Joseph Goebbels in the new opera Zarah by Anders Nilsson and Kilian in Weber’s Der Freischütz at the Folkoperan in Stockholm.
