HUBERT BOUGIS

Hubert Bougis was one of the most sought-after French orchestrators, who collaborated with the greatest soloists and orchestras in Hollywood, London, Paris and the whole world. He worked essentially for the cinema and collaborated equally with composers of chansons, of musicals and orchestral works. With his arrangements and orchestrations he contributed to the success of a large number of artists, among them Céline Dion, Johnny Hallyday, Jean-Jacques Goldman, the violinist Didier Lockwood, and the composers Philippe Sarde and Francis Lai. He was the arranger for the musical Notre Dame de Paris, and, among others, of music for the films of Claude Sautet, Luc Besson and Bertrand Tavernier, including Le 5ème élément, L. 627, La fille de D’Artagnan, Les Amants du Nil, Astérix et Obélix contre César and Les Enfants de la Pluie.
