INES MADEIRA Inês Madeira studied at the Lisbon National Conservatory of Music and at the Flanders Opera Studio in Ghent. Her many operatic rôles have included Dido in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Lisinga in Gluck’s Le Cinesi, the Narrator in Ned Rorem’s Fables and Amastre in Handel’s Serse, among others, in a wide-ranging repertoire. In 2004 she was a winner of the Temple Square Concert Award in Belgium and her recital and concert appearances have taken her from Portugal to Belgium, London and Malaysia.
