INGO GORITZKI Ingo Goritzki
a native of Berlin, studied first
of all flute and Piano in Freiburg where he found his way to the oboe and finally
finished his training as a pupil of Helmut Winschermann in Detmold. He expanded
his musical training during a study year in Paris and Master Classes with Pablo
Casals and Sándor Végh in Zermatt. The artist, who has received a distinction
in many national and international competitions played principal oboe in the
Basel Symphony Orchestra (Switzerland) and for Radio Frankfurt. After having
been engaged in several orchestras for over a decade he accepted a position
as Professor at the State College of Music and Theatre in Hannover in 1976,
before following the call to the college of Music in Stuttgart. Ingo Goritzki
plays with the Merlin Ensemble, the Stuttgart Bläserakademie and the Villa Musica
Ensemble. He has appeared as soloist for numerous national and international
orchestras as well as in international festivals such as the Oregon Bach Festival
(USA), Kusatsu (Japan), Berlin and Schleswig-Holstein. He conveys his teaching
experience on a regular basis as a part of events organised by the International
Bach Academy Stuttgart and Master Classes all over the world.
