ISRAEL YINON

Israel Yinon stepped in for Werner Andreas Albert on this production at short notice. Born in Israel, he studied conducting, music theory and composition, and conducted the inaugural concert for Deutschlandradio Kultur. He has made numerous recordings for Decca, Deutsche Grammophon, Koch and CPO. He is the opera conductor at the Schwetzinger Festivals, and a guest conductor with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic, London, the Royal Flemish Philharmonic, Antwerp, the NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Washington Opera and at the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin.
