IVAN PESHKOV Ivan Peshkov was born in 1979 in Ekaterinburg into a family of musicians. In 1998 he graduated from the Special Musical School attached to the Ural Mussorgsky Conservatory in the violin class of Irina Mezrina. In 2003 he graduated from Moscow Conservatory, where he studied violin in the class of Vladimir Ivanov, and chamber
ensemble with Alexander Bonduriansky. In 2006 he completed his studies in the postgraduate course of Moscow Conservatory. In 2001 Ivan Peshkov took the Grand Prix
and the Special Prize of the President of Kazakhstan at the International Chamber Music Competition in Astana. During 2004–2007 he performed as a soloist with the
Musica Viva Chamber Orchestra. As a chamber-music player and a soloist he has participated in numerous musical festivals and concerts in Russia and abroad in Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Spain, Belgium, France, Poland, Turkey, and South Korea. Among his collaborators have been Alexander Rudin, Alexey Liubimov, Ivan Monighetti, and Mikhail Kats.
