JANE SCHOONMAKER RODGERS

Soprano Jane Schoonmaker Rodgers has studied voice, opera, theatre and song interpretation under Martin Katz, Italo Tajo, Joan Morris, Neva Pilgrim, Nancy Carr, Lorna Haywood, Beverly Rinaldi and Andreas Poulimenos, among others. Her stage credits include appearances with The Ohio Light Opera, Michigan Opera Theatre, Toledo Opera and Michigan Lyric Opera, in leading rôles such as Lady Billows in Albert Herring, Mme Lidione in Les Dialogues des Carméltes, Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, and many others. With her collaborator of several years, pianist Kevin Bylsma, she co-directs the Ann Arbor Festival of Song.
