JEFFREY SEGAL

Jeffrey Segal was born in Wollongong, Australia. His principal teachers have been Daniel Mendelow, Edward H. Tarr and Håkan Hardenberger. From 1991 to 1996 he was solo trumpet of the Orchestre de Chanbre de Lausanne. Since joining the Tonhalle Orchestra, Zurich he divides his time between playing with the orchestra and his solo career which has taken him all over Europe as well as to China, Australia, America and Japan. Mr. Segal also enjoys playing the baroque trumpet both in the role of chamber musician and soloist.
