JOANNA G'FROERER Joanna G’froerer has been Principal Flautist of the National Arts Centre Orchestra since 1992. A native of Vancouver, she studied in Montreal with Timothy Hutchins, and was a winner of the OSM Competition. She plays regularly as a soloist with the NACO and other orchestras across Canada. She is featured on a CBC Records disc of Mozart Flute Quartets and is also flute soloist on the Naxos recording of Rodrigo’s Complete Orchestral Works, Volume 8 (8.557801). She teaches at the University of Ottawa.
