Joe Deninzon is one of the most versatile, on-demand violinists on the New York scene. He has recorded and performed with a variety of artists including Sheryl Crow, Everclear, Les Paul, Smokey Robinson, Johnny Mathis, Robert Bonfiglio, and Alessandra Belloni, has been a soloist with the New York Chamber Ensemble, has appeared on MTV and played at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, and has performed for former President Clinton. Joe has been hailed by critics as “The Jimi Hendrix of the Violin” because of his unique style on the electric six-string violin and his compositions fusing jazz, rock, and world music. Joe and his progressive fusion band, Stratospheerius, have released two CDs to international acclaim. The group has performed throughout the Northeastern United States and has developed a reputation for their explosive live performances.
