JOSEPH CRNKO

The choral director Joseph Crnko has been Music Director of the Northwest Choirs for over 25 years. The Northwest Choirs under his direction boasts 200 members in seven progressively graded ensembles, an annual schedule of more than forty concerts, a biannual international tour program, and a schedule of recording engagements. The Northwest Boychoir performs regularly with the Seattle Symphony, in addition to collaborations with other area professional arts organizations. In 2007, Crnko was appointed Associate Conductor for Choral Activities of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. The Northwest Boychoir can be heard on MOR’s recording of Hans Krása’s children’s opera Brundibár (Naxos 8.570119).
