JOSHUA HOPKINS The baritone Joshua Hopkins completed a Master’s Degree in Performance at McGill University in Montreal, has been featured by L’Opera de Québec, Glimmerglass Opera, Orchestre Metropolitain in Montreal, Ottawa’s National Arts Centre Orchestra and Quebec’s Les Violons du Roy. He appeared in the finals of the Metropolitan Opera’s National Council Auditions and was also a winner in the George London Foundation Competition. Credits include the Young Artist programme of the Houston Grand Opera and he has performed the rôles of Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, Nick Shadow in The Rake’s Progress, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte, Friedrich Bhaer in Little Women and Masetto in Don Giovanni.
