JULIAN PATRICK Julian Patrick, actor in this recording of For a Look or a Touch, has sung baritone roles with the Metropolitan Opera, Theâtre de Genève, Vienna Volksoper, L’Opéra du Rhin, Marseille Opera, Netherlands Opera, Welsh National Opera, New York City Opera, San Francisco Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Dallas Opera and Seattle Opera. His opera repertoire consists of over a hundred major roles ranging from Alberich in Wagner’s Ring cycle to Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia. He is equally at home on the concert stage, having sung with most of the major symphony orchestras in the United States. Recently he has returned to his first love, Broadway musicals, performing as Benjamin Franklin in 1776, Tony in The Most Happy Fella, and Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd. He is Professor Emeritus of the School of Music of the University of Washington.
