Kenneth Tarver is considered to be one of the outstanding tenore di grazia of his generation, acknowledged for his beauty of tone, virtuosic technique, extensive and even vocal range, coupled with an attractive and elegant stage presence. He is a specialist in the most demanding virtuosic operatic repertoire and has appeared at the world’s most prestigious opera houses, including the ROH Covent Garden, Wiener Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper, Bayerische Staatsoper, Dresden Semperoper, Liceu, Opéra Comique, MET New York and the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.

Recent successes include Haydn’s L’Anima del Filosofo (Budapest Festival), Gluck’s Orphée et Euridice (Stuttgart Staatsoper), Mozart’s Idomeneo (La Monnaie), Haydn’s Orlando Paladino (Concertgebouw), Haydn’s L’Infedelta Delusa (Wiener Musikverein) and Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri (Teatro Municipal Santiago de Chile).
