KREMERATA BALTICA Kremerata Baltica was founded in 1997 by Gidon Kremer, one of the worlds leading violinist, to celebrate his 50th birthday. Formed to foster outstanding young musicians from the three Baltic states, the orchestra has since established itself as one of today's most acclaimed international European ensembles. The orchestras repertoire reflects the usually extensive musical range of Gidon Kremer, with a special emphasis on contemporary music.
