LAURA MINGUZZI

Born in Pisa, Laura Minguzzi was a pupil of Marzio Conti at the L. Boccherini Conservatory, Lucca, where, at the age of 18, she obtained her diploma with top marks. She continued her musical studies with Philippe Bernold and Robert Thuillier at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon, and at the Orchestral Academy of Teatro alla Scala, Milan. In these years she dedicated herself to the study of the baroque flute at the Conservatoire Royal de Mons, Belgium, and to contemporary music. She has served as principal and co-principal flautist in a number of orchestras in Italy, and since 2011 has played with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma in concerts in Italy and abroad. She is Professor of Flute at Udine and Trento Conservatory of Music, and plays in chamber music ensembles, including the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova.
