LYNN KUO

Violinist Lynn Kuo has appeared as recitalist, chamber musician, and guest soloist across North America and Europe. In demand as an interpreter of new music, she has given numerous world premières of acoustic and electroacoustic works written for her and various ensembles by composers in North America and Europe. She continues to collaborate with leading artists, performing for radio and television broadcasts in Europe and Canada, and in international music festivals. She also performs in Canada’s Les AMIS Ensemble and, with pianist Marianna Humetska, as Duo Les AMIS. Based in Toronto, Lynn Kuo is the assistant concertmaster of the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra, and also serves as adjudicator, guest artist, teacher, and lecturer at Canadian festivals and universities. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Toronto.
