MANCHESTER CATHEDRAL CHOIR Manchester Cathedral Choir comprises of up to 20 trebles (boys and girls) and nine Lay-Clerks. The children all attend Chetham’s School of Music for their education from ages 8–13. The Choir has an extensive repertoire of music from the plainsong to the present day. In addition to its principal function of singing the Opus Dei, the Choir is a frequent contributor to BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4 and television.
