Born in Perpignan in 1991, Manon Philippe studied the violin with Lucie Carton and Christian Rouquié, later winning first prize and the Perpignan city prize in the Lempdes Competition, enabling her to participate in master-classes with M. Benderski. Between 2005 and 2006 she appeared as a soloist with the Orchestre Perpignan Méditerranée, playing in the première of Xavier Benguerel’s Doble Concert de la Porta Ferrada in August 2005. Since then she has continued her higher studies at the Conservatoire National Région de Paris in the class of Suzanne Gessner.
