Born in Barcelona in 1981, Marc Sala studied vocal technique with Fernando Bañó, Eduard Giménez and Ana Luisa Chova, and took courses and masterclasses with Raúl Giménez, Antoni Ros-Marbà, Dalton Baldwin, Giacomo Aragall, Ana Luisa Chova and Viorica Cortez. He studied art history at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona. He has appeared in opera, zarzuela and Lieder in Milan, London, Tokyo, Panama and Costa Rica. In 2010 he sang Tamino in Die Zauberflöte and in 2011 made his début as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto at the Théâtre Roger Barat, Herblay, Île-de-France.
