MAREK KALBUS German bass-baritone Marek Kalbus studied at the Hanns Eisler academy of Music Berlin. After he became a prizewinner at the International Belvedere Competition Vienna in 2004, his international career began with Wagner’s Parsifal at the Teatro Carlo Felice Genoa and the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin. Since then Marek Kalbus has sung regularly in principal opera houses and concert halls throughout the world, including the Opéra Comique, Paris, Teatro Carlo Felice, Genoa, Teatro Dal Verme, Milan, Teatro Massimo, Palermo, Teatro Municipal, Santiago, Chile, Teatro Lirico, Cagliari, Théâtre du Capitole, Toulouse, Konzerthaus, Berlin and Berlin Philharmonic, Rudolfinum Prague and the Grand Theatre Hong Kong.
