MARY PHILLIPS American mezzo Mary Phillips’s opera appearances include the Metropolitan Opera, Canadian Opera, Barcelona and Edinburgh in rôles of Wagner, Strauss, Handel, Mozart, Verdi, Bizet and Heggie. Her concert appearances with the New York, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong philharmonic and symphony orchestras in Atlanta, Dallas, Honolulu, Houston, Indianapolis, Phoenix, and Pittsburgh have included repertoire by Glass, Mahler, Szymanowski, Prokofiev, Bruckner, de Falla and Tchaikovsky. She has appeared in recital at Carnegie Hall, the Marilyn Horne Foundation and New York Festival of Song.
