A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris, Matthieu Lécroart has appeared in many opera and concert venues, both in France and abroad (London, Vienna, Berlin, Madrid, Delhi, Shanghai, Tokyo, Chicago, New York and elsewhere), and in a wide repertoire ranging from the baroque to the contemporary. He has also appeared in revivals of rare works, including Halévy’s Charles VI, Louise Bertin’s La Esmeralda, Noé by Halévy and Bizet, Messager’s Passionnément, Ullmann’s Der Kaiser von Atlantis (title rôle), Hindemith’s Das lange Weihnachtsmahl, Falla’s El retablo de Maese Pedro, Schoenberg’s A Survivor from Warsaw, and Sauguet’s Les Caprices de Marianne, notably at the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne.
