MATTIAS ERMEDAHL The tenor Mattias Ermedahl was born in 1971 and studied at the Stockholm Opera College from 1992 until 1996. He became a member of the choir at the Royal Opera in Stockholm at the age of twenty. Rôles he has sung at the Gothenburg Opera include Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville, Ferrando in Così fan tutte, Tamino in The Magic Flute and the Helmsman in The Flying Dutchman. He has also sung Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni at the Folk Opera in Stockholm. He has made a large number of recordings for the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation, including romances and operatic repertoire.
