HELEN MCQUEEN

Helen McQueen plays oboe and cor anglais with the major London orchestras. She is a member of the City of London Sinfonia since 1980 with whom she has made many recordings, including performing cor anglais solos such as in Copland's Quiet City and Vivaldi's Double oboe Concerti. As a freelance musician Helen McQueen has performed with many orchestras in the UK, such as Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Halle Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Covent Garden, Scottish Opera.
