MELODIE GIOT

Born in 1981, Mélodie Giot began her musical studies at the age of four. She studied at the Conservatoire National de la Región Perpignan Méditerranée in the classes of Michel Lefort and Marie-Madeleine Millem and in 2000 won various prizes with the unanimous award of the first prize in 2003 in the Lempdes Competition. She has participated in a number of concerts with the Camérata de France, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg and other ensembles, and in August 2005 played in the first performance of Xavier Benguerel’s Doble Concert de la Porta Ferrada.
