MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY CHILDREN'S CHOIR The Michigan State University Children’s Choir Program was founded by Mary Alice Stollak in 1993, concurrently with the inception of Michigan State University’s Community Music School. Past performances with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra include John Adams’s On the Transmigration of Souls, JS Bach’s St Matthew Passion and Orff’s Carmina Burana. Their recordings include William Bolcom’s Songs of Innocence and of Experience on the Naxos label under the direction of Leonard Slatkin (8.559216–18).
