BEATRIZ MILLAN Beatriz Millán has given the premières of many works for harp by Spanish composers, including Ramón Barce’s quartet Römerglas, Mercedes Zavala’s Haikus de la Luna for flute in G and harp, and Límite Infinito for flute and harp by Teresa Catalán, issued on CD. Born in Madrid, she studied with the eminent harpist Susann McDonald at Indiana University (EEUU), winning the important IU Concerto Competition. She is professor of harp at the C.P.M. “Arturo Soria” and collaborates with ORCAM and numerous chamber ensembles.
