HOFKAPELLE MUNCHEN Since 2009 the Munich Hofkapelle, under the artistic direction of the baroque violinist and conductor Rudiger Lotter, has devoted itself to the performance practice of the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries, establishing itself as one of the leading such ensembles in Europe, bringing together specialists and soloists in the field of early music. The Munich Hofkapelle has a particular interest in the rediscovery of important figures from the history of music in south Germany. Awards include the German Record Prize.
