ANGELA NISI The soprano Angela Nisi attended the Conservatory in Monopoli. After further studies in musicology, she began intensive vocal and repertoire studies with Margaret Baker-Genovesi, and afterwards with Manuela Custer. She also attended the School of Acting for Singers at Teatro Stabile in Turin directed by Davide Livermore and in 2012 the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome under the guidance of Renata Scotto. Her repertoire ranges from Renaissance music to the twentieth century, operatic and chamber music; she collaborates as soloist with ensembles such as Ars Cantica Choir & Consort and Cappella della Pietà dei Turchini and conductors such as Aldo Ceccato and Francesco Lanzillotta. Her stage experience includes Pulcinella finto maestro di musica, Il Demetrio by Leonardo Leo, Dorina e Nibbio by Domenico Sarro, Die lustige Witwe, Le sorelle Brontë by Andrea Chenna (Festival Biennale Teatro di Venezia) directed by Davide Livermore. Micaela in Carmen, Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor, and Pinocchio by Valtinoni at Teatro Regio di Torino.
