PIA FREUND The soprano Pia Freund studied at the Sibelius Academy, and under Dorothy Irving in Sweden, among others. She has been a regular guest artist at the Finnish National Opera since her début as Mimì in Puccini’s La bohème. Pia Freund has a wide concert repertoire and has won many competitions and awards, including the Culture Award of the Town of Hämeenlinna and the Sibelius Award of the Sibelius Society.
