PIERRE GYLBERT

The Swedish lyric tenor studied at the University College of Opera in Stockholm, graduating in 2003, although he made his début in 1997 as Ferrando in Così fan tutte at the Läckö Slottsopera. In 2005 he sang Ferrando once again at Ystadsoperan. Pierre Gylbert has also been engaged at the Folkoperan, Drottningholms Slottsteater, Reginateatern and Värmlandsoperan, where in 2004 he sang the principal rôle in the new opera En Herrgårdssägen, from the novel by Selma Lagerlöf. Since 2004 he has been a member of the Royal Opera in Stockholm.
