CHARLES REID

Charles Reid was educated at the Houston Baptist University. He has performed opera on many of the most famous international stages, including the Metropolitan Opera, San Fancisco Opera, Theater an der Wien, Frankfurt Opera, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Nationaltheater Mannheim and the festivals of Bayreuth, Salzburg, Spoleto USA and Glimmerglass. His wide concert repertoire ranges from Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven to Schubert, Mahler, Mendelssohn, Dvořák, Saint-Saëns, Verdi, Pärt, Britten and Tippett. His discography includes recordings for Deutsche Grammophon, Opus Arte, OEHMS Classics and Naxos, among others. He is Director of Vocal Studies at Andrews University, Michigan, where he serves as associate professor and artist-in-residence.
