RICCARDO BARTOLI Riccardo Bartoli is on the teaching staff at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro, where he himself graduated with the highest distinction before continuing his studies with such eminent musicians as Aldo Ciccolini and Sergio Fiorentino. He has won prizes in national and international competitions as both a solo and chamber performer, and has also been awarded a Diplôme Supérieur d’Exécution by Paris’s École Normale de Musique, a Diploma di Merito by Siena’s Accademia Chigiana and a higher degree in music by Bologna’s Università degli Studi. His performance career has taken him to cities across Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Norway and the United States, and he has won critical acclaim for the recordings he has made for Naxos, Bongiovanni and Arcam Cambridge, including a “CD of the month” award from CD Classica (con giudizio artistico “Eccezionale”) and Musica’s 5-star award.
