SAMUEL JARRICK

The baritone Samuel Jarrick was born and raised in Stockholm, where he studied at the University College of Opera. He is now a member of Malmö Opera, where his rôles have included those of Joseph de Rocher in Dead Man Walking by Jake Heggie, Shaunard in La bohème and Jake Wallace in La fanciulla del West. Earlier rôles included those of Don Giovanni and of Escamillo in Carmen at Skånska Operan, Gugliemo in Così fan tutte at Folkoperan in Stockholm, the title rôle in Falstaff at the Ice Globe Theatre in Jukkasjärvi, Buonafede in Il mondo della luna with Opera Agile, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte with Nordisk Kammaropera, and Tyko in Snäll rebell, an operatic fairytale freely based on Sagan om Karl-Bertil Jonssons julafton by Tage Danielsson, with Opera Reflex.
