STAFFAN ALVETEG The bass Staffan Alveteg was born in 1965 and trained as a cantor. His roles have included Sarastro in The Magic Flute, Bartolo in The Marriage of Figaro and Caronte in Monteverdi’s Orfeo. As a soloist he has participated in performances of major choral works such as Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem. He has also sung in the Swedish Radio Choir and Eric Ericson’s Chamber Choir. He is a member of the chorus at the Royal Opera in Stockholm.
