FRODE STENGAARD

Frode Stengaard, piano

Frode Stenyaard was born in 1948 and studied at the Royal Academy of Music, Arhus, under Bengt Johnsson and Georg Vasarhelyi among others. He later studied in Paris with Gaston Litaize and Yvonne Loriod, making his début as an organist in 1972 and as a pianist three years later. He now teaches at the Academy, Arhus, and enjoys a career as a soloist and in duo partnership with Erik Kaltoft, concentrating chiefly on contemporary music.
