FREDRIK STRID

The tenor Fredrik Strid studied at the Royal Academy of Music and at the University College of Opera in Stockholm. He has also participated in the English National Opera’s Jerwood Young Singers Programme. His repertoire includes Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Nerone in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Ramiro in La Cenerentola, Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Tony in West Side Story, rôles he has performed in Swedish theatres, including NorrlandsOperan, Folkoperan, the Drottningholm Court Theatre and Confidencen as well as at the English National Opera, Grange Park Opera and on tour to Japan with Teatro alla Scala.
