SVEND S. SCHULTZ

(b 1913 )

As a young composer Schultz was decisively influenced by contemporary neoclassicism, and he has remained true to this ideal all his life. His tonally based music gives expression to a free musical imagination through the medium of an attractive and easily comprehensible idiom.
