Kenneth Tarver has sung at the Vienna State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Berlin, Hamburg and Bavarian State Operas, Semperoper Dresden, the Royal Opera Covent Garden, the Liceu in Barcelona, the Metropolitan Opera, the Teatro San Carlo, Naples, and at the Festivals of Aix-en-Provence and Edinburgh. His repertoire includes rôles by Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti, Gluck, Verdi and Berlioz. Appearances include Rossini’s La donna del lago at the Edinburgh Festival and Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) in Brussels, Cologne and Paris, and at the Aix-en-Provence Festival. Other rôles range from Mozart’s Così fan tutte and Die Entführung aus dem Serail, and Berlioz’s Les Troyens and Béatrice et Bénédict to Shostakovich’s The Nose with Mstislav Rostropovich, and Verdi’s Falstaff with Zubin Mehta and Bernard Haitink. In 2012 he sang Don Ramiro (La Cenerentola) in Buenos Aires and Aureliano (Aureliano in Palmira) in London, followed by Lindoro (L’Italiana in Algeri) in Dresden and Paris, and Ferrando in a recording by Sony of Così fan tutte.
