Tatiana Lisnic was born at Cobalea in Moldavia and began her studies at the Kichinev Music School, continuing at the Cluj Conservatory in Romania. She made her début at the Cluj Opera, singing Nedda in Pagliacci and Ilia in Idomeneo. With a Karajan scholarship she became a member of the Vienna State Opera in 2003, singing there Adina, Lauretta, Susanna and Nanetta. Her career has taken her to the most famous opera houses, in collaboration with the most distinguished conductors, from La Scala under Riccardo Muti to La Monnaie under Antonio Pappano. Her burgeoning career has also brought numerous concert performances in major European musical centres.
