THERESA HOLZHAUSER

Theresa Holzhauser studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and at the Bavarian Theatre Academy. She has won prizes in various competitions and in 2011 was a member of the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival. She has appeared with the Bavarian Radio Orchestra and sang the rôle of Second Maidservant in Strauss’s Elektra at the Rome Teatro dell’Opera. She is currently a member of the company at the St Gallen Theatre and her rôles there have included those of Maddalena in Rigoletto and Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte. She has appeared in concert at the Munich Prince Regent Theatre, the Herkulessaal and the Old Opera in Frankfurt.
