TIMOTHY MCALLISTER

Saxophonist Timothy McAllister is soprano chair of acclaimed PRISM Quartet, and has appeared with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Detroit Symphony, Cabrillo Festival Orchestra, New World Symphony, Houston Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Albany Symphony, among many others. He is credited with over 100 premières of solo and chamber works for saxophone by emerging and eminent composers worldwide, and serves as professor of saxophone at the Herberger Institute School of Music at Arizona State University. His recordings appear on the Deutsche Grammophon, Summit, Naxos, Albany, Centaur, Equilibrium, AUR, New Dynamic, and Innova labels. He received multiple degrees, including the Doctor of Musical Arts, from the University of Michigan.
