VANESSA BARKOWSKI

Vanessa Barkowski studied singing with Gerhild Romberger at the Detmold Hochschule für Musik and at the Hamburg Hochschule für Musik und Theater. After her concert diploma she participated in master-classes with Kurt Moll, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Ingeborg Danz. Awarded various prizes, she appeared at the Berlin Komische Oper, Frankfurt Opera, Hamburg State Opera, Bavarian State Opera in Munich and the Opéra Bastille in Paris. She has also appeared at the Schloss Rheinsberg Chamber Opera, Lincoln Center Festival, Munich Biennale and Schwetzinger Festival.
