WOLFGANG DAVID

The winner of many competitions and prizes, the Austrian violinist Wolfgang David has performed in over forty countries with major orchestras and in halls such as the Vienna Konzerthaus and Musikverein, Carnegie Hall in New York, the Cerritos Center in Los Angeles, London’s Wigmore Hall, UNESCO Hall in Paris, Victoria Hall in Geneva and the Cologne Philharmonic. Highlights of his career have included concerts at the Great Assembly Hall of the United Nations in New York in the presence of Secretary General Kofi Annan, and a concert in Bangkok, given for the Queen of Thailand.

Wolfgang David studied with Rainer Kuechl (Vienna), Igor Ozim (Cologne), and Yfrah Neaman (London). He performs on a violin by Carlo Bergonzi, Cremona 1715, on exclusive loan to him from the Austrian National Bank.
