Karl Lozier
Positive Feedback Online, March 2012

This lightweight group of releases by the elder Johann Strauss is simply delightful. There are a pair of audibly contrasting marches, the Austrian Celebration and the Esmeralda.

Performances are seemingly spot on and the relatively small orchestra certainly knows this music. The audio quality is excellent and even presents a very solid bottom…end response when called for. Depth, staging and detail are not to be faulted. Simply enjoyable music performed excellently and captured in absolutely top quality sound has to be recommended, even to classical music newcomers. © 2012 Positive Feedback Online Read complete review, January 2012

performed with the usual relish by the very fine Slovak Sinfonietta Ĺ˝ilina under the expertly idiomatic direction of Christian Pollack…are all very well-made, elegantly assembled and thoroughly danceable, even today. © 2012 Read complete review
