Mary Berry
Gramophone, January 2015

The singers are a young group with boundless energy…They are best in their calmer moments, as in the Agnus Dei of the five-part Mass. I would…warmly recommend this disc to anyone wishing for a first tasting of this music. © 2015 Gramophone Read complete review on Gramophone

Classic CD, January 2009

This month’s real gem

Penguin Guide, January 2009

This coupling from the Oxford Camerata represents one of Naxos’s most enticing bargains. The full-throated singing has spontaneous ardour but no lack of repose in the music’s more serene moments. Summerly offers the motet, Infelix ego, as a bonus. These readings are distinctive in a different way from those by the Tallis Scholars. The recording is outstandingly vivid.

CD Review, February 1993

"If I have devoted rather more space than usual to a budget issue, it is for the simple reason that it deserves it"

Gramophone

"Naxos is offering an absolute bargain"
