David Denton
David's Review Corner, June 2011

…tracks 9 and 10—the final Toccata and Fugue—...make your speakers dance around. By contrast the Thirteen Choral Preludes are short, some less than a minute and could be used as ‘filling-in’ pieces before or during a church service. Maybe not everything Reger wrote for the organ is essential listening, but such persuasive and urgent performances does make this a rather special release in the series. The sound quality possesses such detailed clarity while the full degree of high impact preserves a viable church acoustic.
