Kenneth Keaton
American Record Guide, January 2011

The cello sonata…has a lush, chromatic language; and the elegiac II is enchanting. Both works have a perfect balance between the players—the guitar is a full partner, not just an accompanist. Regnier…presents an excellent performance. His partners are all masterly, their performances perfectly integrated. Above all, he has command of Gnattali’s voice, both the classical roots and the Brazilian folk and popular influences.

WRUV Reviews, September 2010

Brazilian composer Gnattali (1906–1988) sought to mix classical and folk/popular music. Lovely, interesting works with modern elements. Play all!
